Twelve years designing, building and delivering national systems — digital identity, health, supply chain and official statistics — for governments, UN agencies and USAID-funded programmes across Africa and Asia, from architecture and engineering through to country-wide roll-out.

2021 — 2024

Consultant, Digital Data Systems & Field Operations Monitoring

UN Economic Commission for Africa

Designed census and survey field-monitoring systems, helpdesk systems and executive dashboards for population and housing census operations — deployed in Togo, Benin, Djibouti, Burundi, Namibia and Zimbabwe, with statistical monitoring and dissemination systems supporting thirteen member states. Advised national statistical offices on data management, visualisation and applied data science.

2020 — 2021

Project Director, National ID Pilot

Ministry of Innovation & Technology · Open Society Foundations

Managed development and roll-out of Ethiopia's National ID system on MOSIP: platform customisation, integration across organisations and regions, delivery planning and risk follow-up, and coordination with the steering committee, the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Peace. Led a team of four engineers building the customisation layer.

2019 — 2020

Manager, Software Development — MyChoice

John Snow Inc. · Indonesia

Led development and roll-out of a Gates Foundation–funded enterprise application for BKKBN, Indonesia's national family planning agency, scaling it with additional dashboards and ETL systems across cloud and internal servers. Managed an implementation partner alongside development teams, domain experts, testing sessions and pilot activities.

2016 — 2018

Manager, Software Development — USAID AIDSFree

John Snow Inc. · Ethiopia

Oversaw the systems built by around twenty-four developers, analysts, server administrators and implementers under an $18M USAID programme. Expanded EFDA's licensing software, scaled supply chain systems for EPSA vaccine and malaria distribution, and standardised architecture, tooling and delivery practice across the teams.
